What is the Purpose of the Collaborative?
The Mission of the Cincinnati CFA Society Women in Investment Management Collaborative (Cincinnati WiIM) is to develop and support a network of female professionals working in the investment management industry in our region. In addition to providing a forum to socialize and share knowledge and experiences, the Collaborative organizes, sponsors, and supports events and programs that help our members achieve success in both their professional and personal lives.

Another purpose of the Collaborative is to assist our region's employers in helping to recruit, retain, and develop female leadership in their firms. Female investment professionals are in big demand. Although the need to attract and develop female talent is widely recognized and most firms have identified it as a priority, the movement is relatively young and the path to making the vision into a reality is often not clear. That's where we can help. By creating space for conversations about the challenges women are facing as they work to advance their careers, and by giving women an opportunity to share about the methods they used and the resources and support they received to help break through those challenges, employers have an opportunity to gain insight on how to best to achieve that reality.
Who Can Participate?
